Mid Century Nasco "Mountain Wood-Land" Transfer Printed Tableware

A collection of Nasco earthenware in the Mountain-Woodland pattern. The pattern was issued by the Japanese pottery in the 1950’s and was inspired by English transfer-printed earthenware from the nineteenth century. The grouping includes a covered sucrier, jam pot with stand and ladle, and a covered butter dish. The ensemble was likely part of a breakfast set. There are printed marks reading ‘Nasco Moutain Woodland’ on the underside.

Condition

- light wear; some stained crazing on the butter dish.
