A machine made Couristan ‘Kerman Vase’ area rug. The rug features a lattice pattern of florals, vines, and vases in a palette of taupe, dark brown, and cream that sits on top of a dark red field. The field is enclosed by a compound border that features a floral pattern along each long end and an arched pattern at either short end in a complementary palette. The rug has an overcast edge with a wool fringe to either end and is marked to the back ‘Couristan Kerman Vase’.
