Item Details
A set of three handwoven wool accent rugs in the design tradition of the All-T’oqapu, who lived along the western coast of South America in the post-conquest era. Two of the rugs feature a geometric lattice pattern across the field. The patterns features serrated edges along diamond shapes in a palette of cream, lavender, red, pink, and orange. The rugs have a design of highly stylized patterns and geometric mask or human facial features with hooks and triangular forms. The rugs feature fringe along either side and are not marked.
