A 1993 limited edition hand-colored lithograph on paper by Connecticut artist Robert Conrad Ledoux (1938-2009). The work, titled Sherman Green – Fairfield, CT, depicts a gazebo to the center of a park, with quaint houses shown to the background. The work is hand-colored in pale hues of orange, green, brown, tan and blue. It is signed in plate to the lower center left, with an additional signature of ‘RCL ’93’ in graphite to the lower left. The print is numbered 12 out of an edition of 200 to the lower left; it is also titled in graphite to the lower right. It is matted in off-white and presented under glass in a wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- scratching and wear to frame finish; some toning and foxing to paper and mat; slightly loose joints to frame; frame would benefit from cleaning.
