A Japanese handpainted porcelain salt bowl set.The seven matching footed bowls in this lot feature gilt trim, a decorative blue band at the rim, and a floral motif painted on the interior bowl of a large red blossom with gilt accents to the greenery. The bowls are marked ‘Kutani’ (九谷) to the base with gilt on a black surface; the exterior sides are a glazed mixture of white and blue shading.
