Two Heliotype Prints Of Polo Matches after W.S. Vanderbilt Allen
Item Details
Two heliotype prints titled ‘Polo Match for Westchester Cups’ and ‘Pony Race for Polo Ponies’ after paintings by W.S. Vanderbilt Allen. Both works depict equestrian action scenes from English polo matches in the late 19th century and are signed in-plate. They are presented matted under glass in painted wooden frames. Both frames include hanging wires on the verso.
