Silver Gelatin Process Photographs and Antique Crayon Portrait
Item Details
A grouping of photographs, including three silver gelatin process prints and an antique crayon portrait photograph. Included in the assortment of silver gelatin prints is a portrait of a group of men in suits, with the label ‘Academy of Medicine at Coldbrook Aug-24-1915’ written in white beneath them, and ‘Loomis Photo’ to the lower right corner of the image. The piece is mounted onto gray board. Also included is a portrait of an older man and woman on the lawn of a vine-covered house. The crayon portrait, of a blond child, uses powdery blue and yellow to highlight the figure, who is standing on a carved wooden chair.
Condition
- poor; all show age; edges damaged throughout all; foxing and staining throughout all; Colbrook portrait and portrait with house have water marks.
