Cavalier Cedar Lined Chest

Item Details

A Cavalier cedar lined chest. Features an ornate design with carved and walnut veneered crown piece over the rectangular top which has been finished with an ogee edge. The front and sides of the chest feature matched walnut veneers beneath carved scrollwork designs in high relief and the bottom of the piece features carved dentil detailing over the solid foot. The piece includes brass hardware and it is marked with an embossed brass Cavalier plaque to the interior.
