Black and White "Espana Rosa" Ceramics by Block
Item Details
A collection of white porcelain with black decorations. These transferware pieces were produced by Block, a Spanish porcelain and glass manufacturer. Included are two dinner plates, seven salad plates, six bread plates, six saucers, four teacups, a creamer, a sugar bowl, a vegetable bowl, and an oval serving platter for a total of twenty-nine pieces. Plates are decorated with modern black roses and smaller pieces are decorated with leaves. Marked ‘Espana Rosa’, ‘Block Bidasoa’, and ‘Spain’.
