Antique English Sterling Silver Buckle Bangle

Item Details

An antique Birmingham, England sterling silver buckle bangle. This bangle features a top etched foliate design with a center buckle design and sphere accents. Imprinted upon the interior band is ‘KD’ with pictographic marks of an anchor, lion, and a cursive K. The lion passant represents sterling, the anchor is representative of Birmingham and the Gothic ‘k’ – 1884. The K&D in rectangular cartouche is a possible variation of the maker’s mark of Kendall & Dent. The total approximate weight of this bangle, inclusive of all materials, is 1.100 ozt.
