U.S. Navy Officer's Sword With Scabbard

A U.S. Navy officer’s sword. The ornate brass tone hilt of this ceremonial saber features an oak leaf and acorn motif “USN” on the guard, a U.S. Navy seal on the pommel, and a gold tone tassel. The blade features extensive etched decoration including a U.S. Navy shield and the name “John E. Russ, Jr.’. The sword includes a black leather scabbard with gold tone knot motif hangers.
Condition
- light oxidation; light rust to blade; minor wear throughout consistent with age; blade is personalized “John E. Russ Jr.”
