A pair of vintage books collecting material from the British humor magazine Punch, or, The London Charivari. Punch vol. CLXXX, published by the Punch Office in London in July of 1931, collects the magazine from January through June 1931; The Pick of Punch: An Annual Selection was published by Chatto and Windus of London in 1943 and includes material dating from July of 1942 to June of 1943. Both books are clothbound hardcovers with numerous cartoon illustrations, including some color illustrations in the 1931 volume.

- child’s coloring on numerous pages of The Pick of Punch; The Pick of Punch shows significant wear including cracked front hinge and fading to cloth; Punch of 1931 shows general shelf wear including cap and tail damage, loose binding and minor foxing.
