Offset Lithographs After Stradanus's "New Discoveries"

A set of three offset lithographs after engravings by Stradanus (Dutch, 1523 – 1605) from a series titled New Discoveries of Modern Times.. The prints are from a set reproduced by the Burndy Library in 1953. The subjects of these three prints include the discovery of America, a cure for venereal disease, and the invention of eye glasses. They are mounted under glass in natural finish wood frames and are wired for hanging.

Condition

- to fair; frames are scratched and nicked with age; small particles under the glass; print yellowed with age; paper on the back has been re-taped.
