Thomas Kristich Mixed Media Assemblage "Destinations" from the "Meridian" Series

A mixed media assemblage on paper by artist Thomas Kristich. The piece, titled Destinations originates from the artist’s Meridian series. It features cutout offset lithograph imagery that includes an airplane, an elephant and a figure riding a camel. The smaller pieces are assembled in a grid pattern to the center of the work. It is signed in graphite to the lower right and noted as ‘Meridian Series’ to the lower left, with the title written in pen to the frame verso. The piece is presented under glass in a wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- paper is wavy, buckled and uneven inside frame; toning to paper; wear and scratching to finish of frame; loose joints to frame; pasted items are wrinkled and not fully affixed to backing paper.
