An original oil painting on canvas by artist Harold H.C. Kimball (American, 1921-1991). This mid-century painting is an abstract depiction of two individuals with washes of color and scratched lines in the paint forming the figures. Thought to be an extension of, or a study for his ‘Adam and Eve’ painting, this art appears to depict two individuals covering themselves with a barren tree beyond. It is signed ‘Kimball’ to the lower right. The art is presented in a medium wood stained frame with a teal egg and dart border, and interior linen border. Art is ready to hang with a wire on the reverse.
