A limited edition offset lithograph titled On the Edge Eastern Timberwolf by Helen Rundell (1953-), with former President of the United States Gerald Ford’s (1913-2006) signature. This realist image depicts a timberwolf standing on a cliff by coniferous trees. Falling snow covers the scene, creating misty blue atmospheric perspective in the distance beyond the wolf. The work is signed in plate and beneath the printed image in pencil to the lower right, with Ford’s signature in pencil to the lower left. This print is an early impression in the edition, marked 14 of 5000. A gold tone plaque is included to the lower margin, reading ‘1991 Presidential Conservation Print’, with the edition number. The work is presented under layered blue mats and glass in a gold tone wood frame, with a hanging wire and certificate of authenticity affixed to the verso.
