A 1973 oil painting on board by Paul Blum. This work depicts the dessert landscape outside Phoenix, Arizona near the Mexican borders, with a tall cactus in the foreground at the Ajo Mountains rising in the distance. It is signed sgraffito in the lower right and presented in a gold tone wooden frame with white, blue, and gold liners, that is wired for hanging. The artist, date, and location and inscribed on verso.

- chips and scrapes in frame along verso; minor staining and discoloration to canvas on frame.
