An oil painting on canvas of a mountain lake by German artist Julius Grodner (b. 1900). Signed by hand to the lower right corner, the painting depicts a lake surrounded by snow covered mountains and trees. The painting is presented in a gold tone wood frame with a beige liner. A wire for hanging purposes and a short biography about the artist are present to the verso of the frame.
