E.S. Lumsden Limited Edition Etching

Item Details

A signed etching by listed artist Ernest Stephen Lumsden (1883-1948). This intaglio print depicts a seaside scene featuring men and pack animals unloading goods and making camp as boats float close to shore in the shallow waters of low tide. The work is signed both in-plate and by hand in graphite near the lower right. It is dated 1929 and hand numbered 38/65. The print is presented under glass with a white mat in a black wooden frame. The frame includes a hanging wire mounted to the verso.
