An offset lithograph poster on paper after a 1980 painting by listed American artist LeRoy Neiman (1921 – 2012), printed by Hammer Graphics. The piece depicts a colorful Impressionistic portrait of Los Angeles Dodgers baseball player Steve Garvey at bat. The image is signed and dated in plate to the lower right, with the artist’s name and ‘Hammer Graphics’ printed to the top and bottom margins. The poster is set over a light blue background and presented under glass in a gold tone metal frame with a sawtooth hanger to the verso. The frame backing includes a label with information about the artist.
