Wedgwood "Wild Strawberry" Tureen and Antique Porcelain Trio circa 1800-15

A collection of porcelain tableware including antique English porcelain and Wedgwood circa 1965 in the Wild Strawberry pattern. The English porcelain trio was made between 1800-15 with a bute shaped cup, coffee can and saucer. Trio’s were popular in the period as the saucer could be shared. This set has hand painted decoration featuring green enamels and gilding, much of the white porcelain is exposed to show it’s perfection, after the change from soft-paste formulations that could have firing imperfections. The Wedgwood bone china tureen has a pattern composed of strawberry vines with pink blossoms and is accompanied by a circular tray. There are printed marks on the underside reading ’Wedgwood Bone China Made in England Wild Strawberry ’ and a printed Portland Vase mark.
