Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian runner. This wool rug is rendered in a palette of cream, cranberry, pink, pale blue, and celadon. It features an allover floral design with arabesqued palmettes, flowers, leaves, and vines over a cream-colored field. Framing the field are three floral borders grounded in cranberry and pale blue. Selvedges are overcast, with a protective strip sewn along the underside. Top and bottom finish with decoratively knotted ivory wool warp fringe. The rug is unlabeled.
