Cat-Themed Artwork Including a Paper Cut-Out

A collection of cat-themed artwork by various artists. Included in this assortment of four is a painting of a mouse embracing the face of an orange cat, titled in pencil to its lower left margin I thought I’d Try a New Approach, and signed in paint to the lower right by Georgia scratchboard artist Rosie Clark (c. 1926-2016), along with a colored print titled Orange Cat and signed by North Carolina-based artist Frances Greenberg, and a tinted drawing of a cat playing in a yarn basket, signed what appears to read ‘C. Dickersen’ to the lower right. Also included is an unsigned paper cut-out mounted on a burgundy ground, depicting the silhouette of a kitten with a loose ball of yarn at its side. Each piece is presented under glass in a frame with hanging hardware to its verso.
