A selection of two hand made wives of Henry VIII porcelain dolls by Gebruder Beerli. Included are Anne of Cleves and Anne Boleyn. They have porcelain heads and hands and included intricate textile character gowns with metal accessory pieces. Both have maker hang tags that read ‘Hand Made in the U.K. An original design by Gebruder Beerli Makers of fine porcelain dolls’. They stand on free-standing conical bases.
