Gorham Sterling Silver Monogrammed "Fairfax" Flatware Set
Item Details
A set of monogrammed Gorham sterling silver flatware in the Fairfax pattern. The set is engraved with the monogram ‘VSA’, and includes twelve each, iced tea spoons, salad forks, dinner forks and dinner knives with stainless blades. Also included are twenty-four teaspoons, one tablespoon, one ladle, one serving fork, one slotted spoon, one sugar spoon and one master butter knife with stainless blade. The handles of all are marked ‘Gorham Sterling’, and the blades of the knives are marked ‘Stainless Blade – Gorham Sterling Handle’. The set comes in a wooden flatware storage box with brown felt lining marked ‘Reed & Barton Tarnish Preventive Cloth’. The lid of the box has a monogrammed oval with ‘VSA’ on it. Total approximate weight of the flatware, excluding the knives with the stainless blades, 82.940 ozt.
