Vintage Landau Cabinet Co. Cedar Chest

An attractive Landau Cabinet Company cedar chest. This cedar chest features a rich-tone stain, with riveted metal strips on top, carved wooden side handles and front inlay banding; finished with wood bracket feet. Interior sticker reads ‘Landau Cabinet Co. St. Louis USA.’ The Landou Cabinet Company was based out of St. Louis and primarily made kitchen (Hoosier style) cabinets, but did have a short time period when they manufactured cedar chests records show they stopped production around the mid 1920s.

- nicks and scuffs to frame, consistent with age and use.
