A hand colored engraving with gouache on paper titled Folle Et Mitte Chiennes De Louis XIV by Ed Willmann, after an original painting by well-listed artist Alexander Francois Desportes (1661-1743). This piece depicts hunting dogs flushing pheasants, in a sweeping landscape under a cloudy sky with flying birds. The work is signed and titled in plate to the lower margin. This print is presented in a black and gold tone wood frame, with hanging wire and a label affixed to the verso.
