A set of Susie Cooper, OBE, bone china dinnerware in the Hyde Park pattern. This set of dinnerware features red and white stylized leaf motif with gilt rims includes six saucers, six dessert plates, one large platter, four handled tea cups, one handled cream pitcher, one lidded sugar bowl and one handled tea pot with handled lid and swan neck spout. Marked to the underside ‘Susie Cooper, Bone China, England, C1912 Hyde Park’.
Cooper (English, 1902 – 1995), was a noted ceramics designer and recipient of the “Royal Designer for Industry” from the Royal Society of Arts (1940.)
