A collection of Chinese watercolor paintings on silk of men and horses. These paintings, which use light gouache detailing throughout, depict bearded men with bridled and saddled horses. These pieces place the figures against blank backgrounds, and use a washy palette of warm colors to give them works a lively feeling. Each has a line of text to one edge, along with an artist’s seal, and a blue and green patterned border. They are presented under beige textile mats, the paintings of single horses behind glass, in gold tone frames with wires for hanging.
