Item Details
A semi-antique Persian Arak area rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of rose, deep midnight blue, and sapphire. It features a Lilihan-inspired design incorporating symetrically arranged palmettes, flowers, lancet leaves, vines, and partial vase-and-bouquet motifs over a rose-colored field. Framing the field are compound borders including a primary herati border over rose and two meandering floral and foliate minor borders over deep midnight blue.
