Akira Blount Handmade Dolls
Item Details
A selection of Akira Blount (1945-2013) handmade dolls. This group of three dolls includes three different height figures, the tallest wears a printed dress with a petticoat, a heart at her waist and a flower for a hat, and carries a basket on one arm. Also included are a jester type ring juggler and a smaller doll named Daisy and dated to the bottom 1987. Blount’s work is in the permanent collections of the Louvre, Musée de Poupees in France, and the White House.
