Kotozuka Eiichi Woodblock Prints "Dropping Cherry Blossoms" and "Countryside scene of Northern Kyoto"

A pair of circa 1950s woodblock prints on paper by Kotozuka Eiichi (琴塚 英一, Japanese, 1906-1979), published by Uchida. One depicts farmers working in the rice fields of Northern Kyoto, before a cluster of houses, as forested mountains rise in the distance. The other is titled Drooping Cherry Blossoms, depicting a white blossoming tree against a the moonlight. There are black inscriptions within the plates to in the lower right corner, and each print is presented double matted under glass in black wooden frames that are wired for hanging.
Condition
- light wear to frame finishes; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly.
