Item Details
A contemporary oil painting on canvas board by Monique Sakellarios (20th century). The piece depicts a sunny landscape scene with purple flowers and lush green vegetation set against a distant waterfront. The work is signed in cream paint to the lower right; however, no clear artist attribution could be made. It is presented without glass in a decorative gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- significant chip to paint at lower right corner; red stain to frame at lower right; overall surface wear and scratching to frame and verso.
