A commemorative lithograph on acid free, archival quality enameled paper by Tom Everhart titled Salute. Everhart is the protegé of famed “Peanuts” creator, Charles M. Schulz (1922-2000). As the only artist granted the rights to draw the “Peanuts” characters in his own work, Everhart creates vibrant, collectible rainbow images featuring Snoopy, Woodstock and the gang. Bereaved by Schulz’s death in February 2000, Everhart created this special piece, released in October 2000 – the 50th Anniversary of the first publication of the “Peanuts” comic strip. The piece is plate-signed by Everhart. The print was limited to 9,500 copies and 100 artist proofs. The seller has provided a certificate of authenticity.
