A pair of hardcover volumes on film theory by famous Soviet filmmaker Sergei Eisenstein, titled The Film Sense (1942) and Film Form (1949). Both are stated first editions, presumed first American editions, translated by Jay Leyda and published by Harcourt, Brace and Company of New York, and retain their original dust jackets.
