A copy of The Poetical Works of Lord Byron that includes a memoir of his life and is illustrated with steel engravings, published by Jas. B. Smith & Co. in Philadelphia in 1858. An 1849 edition of The Poetical Works of Mary Howitt, Eliza Cook and L. E. L. published by Phillips. Sampson & Co. This edition features gilt edges with an embossed cloth cover and includes works by Mary Howitt, Eliza Cook and Letitia Elizabeth Landon. A small book containing Macaulay’s Lays of Ancient Rome and other Poems published by the American Book Company, copyright 1913. A book by Oliver Wendell Homes entitled The Autocrat of The Breakfast Table published by Donohue Henneberry & Co. There is no copyright date but it was first published in 1858 by the same publishing Company. The cover of this small book is green cloth with silver embossed printing and floral decorations to the front cover.
