A mixed media painting by listed artist Creason Clayton (1927 – 2006), titled Benefit Ball Bunch. This painting depicts a gathering of elongated figures wearing long dresses posed in front portraiture. They are defined by loose pools of watercolor that are crackled and reinforced with gestural brush strokes of black ink. To the lower right corner of the composition is an artist signature and date, listed 1992. The painting is presented under glass beneath a white and gold tone mat in a gold tone wooden frame. To the verso is affixed hanging wire, written information regarding the artist and work, as well as the artist’s business card.

- debris beneath glass; backing has nicks, scratches, and smudges throughout.
