International "Wild Rose" Sterling Silver Spoon

Item Details

An International Silver Co. iced tea spoon. The piece is decorated in the Wild Rose pattern fist issued in 1948 and designed by Alfred G. Kintz. Kintz was one of the companies head designers and was responsible for twenty patterns up to the 1950s when the company changed to a more modern design strategy. The spoon is decorated with repoussé roses and scrolls. There are marks in relief on the underside reading ‘International Sterling’. The approximate weight is 0.520 ozt.
