A collection of books by and about author and humorist Samuel L. Clemens, whose pen name was Mark Twain. The collection includes a 1961 copy of Mark Twain Wit and Wisecracks, selected by Doris Benardete, illustrated by Henry R. Martin, and published by The Peter Pauper Press, New York. There is a leather-bound copy of Mark Twain’s A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court, published by arrangement with Harper & Row, Publishers Inc. by International Collector’s Library, New York. Also included is a copy of The Unabridged Mark Twain – Volume I, with opening remarks by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. and edited by Lawrence Teacher, published in 1997 by Running Press.
