An oil painting on canvas board of a still life. This painting depicts a lone bowl filled with a single, cut lemon, which sits against a gradated background of earthen tones. It is surrounded by a slice of lemon and the whole fruit. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring moulded acanthus leaf and palmette designs and a linen and gold tone border. To the verso is an affixed triangular loop for hanging.

- faint wear and scratching to frame finish; could benefit from dusting; scraped tear to verso frame and backing board.
