A collection of seven small abstract mixed media paintings on canvas by reputed contemporary Cincinnati, Ohio-based artist Nelle Ferrara. The paintings are made of gold foil, acrylic and oil paints, and paste. Many of the paints have gold tone and copper tone metallic finish, giving the piece a dramatic sheen accented by fields of red, orange, blue, and black paint. Thickly-applied geometric fields of paint stand dramatically from some of the canvas’s surfaces. The paintings are all gallery-wrapped and ready to hang. They are unsigned, but per consignor come directly from a Cincinnati gallery who consigns the artist’s work.
