A vintage collection of ’Baedeker’s’ and ‘Cooks’ hardback cover travel guides. Four guides by ‘Cook’ entail a handbook to Naples and Environs dated 1922, Venice dated 1923, Florence dated 1924, and India, Burma and Ceylon 1923. Three guides published by ’Baedekers’s consist of Italy dated 1909, Egypt dated 1914 and Belgium and Holland dated 1905. Also included is A PocketGuide of Delhi, Agra & Jaipur compiled by C.M. Mehra, Hotel Cecil, Delhi and is undated. Also added to this grouping is Mountaineering in the Sierra Nevada published in New York by Charles Scribner’s Sons, 1911.

- shows wear that is consistent with use and age including loose binding, tears, page yellowing and writing in travel guides.
