A hand-knotted Kerman area rug. This wool rug features a large floral medallion with pendants and floral sprays along the edges of the field that extent from the border. The rug offers a palette of madder red, midnight blue, sky blue, cadmium yellow, peach, pale green, and cream. The primary border has meandering vines and floral patterns throughout. The rug is finished with overcast edges and a wool warp fringe on either end.
