An original oil painting on canvas board by well-listed Ohio artist Dora G. McCollister (1860 – 1945). The image depicts county fairgrounds, focused on a center ring with two interior rings penned within, for forthcoming entertainment. The painting is unsigned, but comes directly from a large collection of the artist’s works. The painting is presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation. McCollister graduated from the Columbus School of Art and Design in 1932 and was the first fine arts graduate of the Ringling College of Art and Design (Sarasota, Florida), in April 1937.
