A hardcover copy of The Rites and Ceremonies of the Greek Church in Russia by John Glen King, D.D., chaplain to the British Factory at St. Petersburg. The work provides an overview of the Orthodox church in Russia, its history, theology, and ceremonies. It is illustrated with engravings showing churches, clerical garb, etc. including a fold-out frontspiece of the west elevation of the Devitza Monastery of St. Petersburg. Published 1777 by W. Owen, J. Dodsley, J. Rivington, T. Becket and P.A. De Hondt, all of London. It is printed on laid paper and bound in a navy blue leather hardcover with a paneled spine with gilt lettering.

Condition

- light cover wear and paper discoloration, but overall quite good considering age.
