A pairing of antique hardcover books with gilt Art Nouveau bindings. The assortment includes a 1914 edition of Neighborhood Stories by Zona Gale, published by The Macmillan Company and a 1904 edition of Completed Proverbs by Lisle de Vaux Matthewman and Clare Victor Dwiggins, published by Henry T. Coates & Company. Both books feature embossed spines with ornately embossed covers, with gilt accents. The Completed Proverbs book has whimsical black and white illustrations to each page accompanied by witty quotes.
