Item Details
A signed oil painting on canvas of a still life by Elsa Nordenfelt, dated 1916. Signed by hand and dated to the lower right corner, the painting depicts a an oval painting mounted on the wall of an interior room while a candle and a vase of yellow tulips sits on the table in the room. The painting is presented in a gold tone wood frame with a string to verso for hanging purposes.
Condition
- to fair; hole in canvas to lower center tulip; wear to canvas at edges with some paint loss; chip to inner edge of frame at upper left; chipping along outer edges; several black dot stains and scuffs to the frame; wear to corners and white marks to lower left corner of frame.
