Ink and Watercolor Drawing of Face
Item Details
Ink Wash
An ink and watercolor drawing on paper. This portrait uses black ink in wobbly lines to trace the vague outline of a face in a way that results in an uncanny visage with a wide mouth, crooked nose, and empty eyes. A teal watercolor wash highlights parts of the face. It is signed and dated to the lower right corner and appears to read "Leif Lundgren ’65". The piece is mounted on cardstock and a tan backing, behind glass, and in a wood frame that is wired for hanging.
