A hand-knotted Persian wool accent rug. This wool rug features a star medallion surrounded by geometric flowers on a madder red field. The rug offers corner spandrels and multiple guard borders in a palette of tan, red, black, cream, midnight blue, and green. The rug is finished with overcast selvedge edges, a short kilim skirt and a natural cotton warp fringe at either end. Unlabeled.
