John Ruthven Signed Limited Edition Offset Lithograph "African Elephants"

A signed limited edition offset lithograph after the original watercolor titled African Elephants, by well-listed Cincinnati wildlife artist and naturalist, John A. Ruthven (born 1924). The print depicts a mother elephant with her baby, cooling their bodies in a river, sipping the liquid through their amazing snouts. This print is numbered 801/5000 and signed by the artist in pencil to the lower edge. Artist signature is also printed in plate to the lower right. This work is mounted under glass in a wood frame with a pickled finish, equipped to hang. A paper sleeve to the verso contains original paperwork for print.
Condition
- discoloration across print. Accretion on glass and frame. Finish of frame is lightly worn.
